Hi everyone! This is my first Toontown story!
Disclaimer: Disney owns Toontown, not me.

"Ah!" I shout as I slam my bedroom door behind me.
Two hours. Two hours with the Darcy Trio. That should be worth more than my measly payment of $30, probably take $3000 to convince me to babysit those three again.
But hey, a job's a job.
Shoving the cash into my bedside table, I pull out my laptop to check for any information regarding the abductions.
Three teenagers, one girl and two boys, have mysteriously vanished in the last three days. No signs of forced entry or struggle in any of them. Both police forces and the media speculate this is probably an underground organization. The disappearances are too widespread to be the work of one person.
Unfortunately, or fortunately as some would see it, there are no updates relating to the case. So, doing my usual routine, I search up cat videos.
… Don't judge me; lots of fourteen year old girls do that.
"Annie!"
I can't help but cringed at the familiar whine as my five year old sister invites herself into my room.
"What is it Vanessa?"
"Mommy's busy, and Matt's with his friends, so you have to tuck me in tonight." She assumed as she hugged her stuffed bear.
Sighing, I pick up Vanessa and cross the hall to her room.
The sheer amount of pink in her room always stuns me. Don't get me wrong, I like pink in small amounts, like in a skirt or a hair ribbon. But the room is so full of pink; it would make even over-commercialized dolls jealous.
Tucking Vanessa in her (pink) blanket, I turn on her princess themed nightlight and left the room in a soft glow.
I am glad to get back to my navy and white room to watch cat videos. Running over the videos I have seen before, or the junk videos, I eventually come across one about Toontown, featuring a black cat fighting a cog building.
Toontown…
It has been years since I've played. But it was one of the main reasons I raced to the old desktop after school when I was still in single-digits.
Maybe… I could play again?
Trying to convince myself it wasn't weird for me to play an old Disney game; I started to create a new account because I forgot my old password. And it's never a bad idea to start fresh, anyway.
Apparently Toontown updated recently, a little over three days ago.
How lovely.
I signed up for immediate membership (Hey, I like the benefits) and started to create my toon.
Creating a female, brown cat with medium legs and a long torso, with a narrow mouth and a small forehead, I chose a white shirt with black shorts for clothing, and moved onto naming my toon.
Since the name Coconut Princess Muffin didn't exactly appeal to me, I decided to give the cat the name Stacie, Cog Slayer.
Okay, the cog slayer part wasn't allowed, but my old nickname was.
I used to be called Stacie back when I couldn't pronounce 'Anastasia', and thought that the names 'Ana' and 'Annie' were too plain.
But that was the time I thought boys had cooties and that monsters hid in my closet.
I clicked finish, and my name was submitted for review.
And that is when my laptop shut off.
"What the heck?" I whisper, and then set the laptop on the top of my desk. Maybe it was a bug or something.
"I'll check tomorrow." I yawn.
I don't bother changing out of my clothes, they're loose enough to sleep in anyway, so I shut off my lamp and let my head hit the pillow.
And everything went dark.
Love it? Hate it? Want to throw a cupcake at it and see if it explodes? Review!
