Torn stared at Keria, she was crying and well they both knew why. Jak her boyfriend had run off with Torn's girlfriend, Ashlein. Although they weren't really close, she thought that Torn would understand her situation and well of course he did. The same thing was happening to him.
It had been about thirty minutes before she had finally said something. "Oh what the hell" she said. "I just can't win for loosing." Then she sat on her bed. Torn said nothing and continued to listen. "Torn, there are so many times I don't know what I'm doing…" she paused. "Like I don't know now." The moon shone into the bedroom right onto Keria's position on the bed and then she rubbed her eyes and told Torn. "It's funny how the night can make you blind."
Torn didn't know exactly what she was talking about but he just sat there. "I don't know what I am supposed to do." He thought. But he felt as bad as she did.
Keria looked at Torn tears streaming down her face and said "Oh, I can't take no more." Torn stared but didn't reply but, he noticed that the moon illuminated off her tears. Making them appear like diamonds when they hit the floor. Her diamonds brought him down because he knew he couldn't help her now. She was down in it, and by it he meant her own self pity. She tried her best to win Jak's heart. But she had failed and that's what made those diamonds fall and although he knew the reason's why. He still found it hard to see her diamonds falling down.
Keria stopped crying and stared out the window at the moon. Torn wanted to say something and knew that he could break her concentration. But it didn't feel right. So he just sat there in the quiet. "What the hell am I supposed to do?" he asked himself. Then she began to cry some more and since she wasn't looking so did he. He felt her feelings of pain and sometimes it was better to cry.
"Torn, I can't take this any more." her tears feel still looking like diamonds on the floor. They were so bright that he could see them through his own teary blurred the laid down and closed her eyes. She was shutting out the night. "Torn, you should go home I'm going to bed." She paused "Thank you…" Torn walked out of the bedroom mumbling a soft goodnight and walked away. He knew that if she could find daylight she would be all right. But she wouldn't be tonight.
"Oh I couldn't have taken any more." He thought "Of her tears that feel like diamonds onto the floor."
Okay this was based off the song Her Diamonds by Rob Thomas. You should listen to it because it's a great song. This is obviously just a short little one-shot that I was bored and decided to write. Yeah I know I have major projects to be working on but they will be out soon. So while your waiting enjoy this!!
