The New Preschool
Elwood City builds and opens a new preschool named Oak Drive preschool. See if D.W., Emily, Bud, James, and The Tibble twins goes to it. That preschool is built on Oak Drive where the old warehouse once stood. And hire a principal and two teachers for it. They need more students now. So they can open on time. See what happens. The Read family is talking.
"So yes that new preschool will soon open," said Arthur, "They need more students."
"I also heard that," said Mrs. Read, "They need at least four more students to open on time."
"Will i be going to it?" said D.W., "Or stay where i am?"
"Only if you want to go it," said Mrs. Read, "We wont force it on you. I no longer force you kids to do that anyway. We took the classes. So we can become better parents. By the way we treated Arthur here. Who stood up to us."
That new school has toys, books, stuff all preschools need. Everything for them that is. They are going to Elwood City preschool to see if some of them will go to the new preschool. By one of it's teachers Miss. McCook. The next day she came. She is now starting to talk to them kids about it. That it will be a good preschool.
"The new preschool will be good," said Miss. McCook, "It is brand new."
"She needs permission from your parents," said Miss. Morgan, "If you want to go to it."
"That is right," said Miss. McCook, "If interested take one of these."
"They are applications for it," said Miss. Morgan, "And turn them in a week."
D.W., Bud, Emily, and the Tibbles got them. They are interested in that new preschool. She took it to her parents. They decided to fill them out. They are talking about it now.
"I think it will be a good one," said Mrs. Read, "So you can go to it."
"Thanks Mommy," said, D.W., "Glad i can go to it."
"That new school sounds nice," said Arthur, "You might love it."
"I know i will," said D.W., "Miss. McCook seems nice."
