Hey guys! I know I have Wonderwall and I promise I'm updating that soon, but I've wanted to write something Trez for a while now. It's a SHORT chaptered story, probably no more than five chapters, and it's also very heavy in emotions and the general idea. But I think it's also an interesting idea and I hope you will enjoy it. This opening part is short, but if you read it I think you'll understand what is going on with the story.
Trish was never fond of stupid love and life quotes that people always had the habit of repeating (all the damn time). Her life was simple, acted out with whatever she thought it needed, never because of some stupid line of words that insisted you follow their lead. Ally loved stuff like that though, and the girl had only gotten worse ever since she and Austin confessed they liked each other a month ago. It drove her nuts, but in the end, it was those words that saved her in the cold, waiting room of the Miami hospital.
And then there was him. Good God, she hated him yet was intrigued by his every move. Why the heck was he so weird? There weren't any words to describe Dez that were rational, or even words that made him look slightly sane. Because he wasn't and when she thought back to it, that was what made him special.
Trish continued thinking about these quotes and that stupid redhead as she peeled off her nail polish, her mind working hard to put away her true thoughts of the moment.
After all, it was that stupid redhead's fault she was here in the first place.
Stupid redhead.
Trish peered up at the sound of doors swooshing in front of her, disappointed when unfamiliar faces darted from behind them. She sighed, staring at her phone, wondering if she closed her eyes long enough, it would all be a dream, a memory even and Dez would be next to her, asking why she looked so sad. Because it was that, after all, which made her like him.
It wasn't really a secret anymore. Both Ally and Austin had their doubts of her so called hatred of the boy, but she never, ever mentioned how much she truly cared for him.
But it was him, everything about him that made him who he was. The way he was so dense to those around him while being caring at the same time. How he loved his friends and was Austin's biggest fan, ready to go to the top with the boy. And how he secretly loved to tease her and the doubts she had about him really being that stupid.
Well, that part was still up for discussion.
Considering he had gotten his head stuck in a tuba last week, it definitely was.
But it was Dez. Her Dez. Stupid redhead.
A few hours ago, nothing like this would have been on her mind. She had plans with Ally to see a concert on the beach, forget about life for a little while and just enjoy music. Austin and scored the tickets for free and had insisted the girls go enjoy their night and he would occupy the ever sad best friend of his, who was slightly angry that he didn't offer him one as well.
Maybe he should of. It would be different right now, if he did.
But they didn't get to the beach, or to the artist she couldn't even name anymore.
As a phone call rocked their world. But that's another stupid saying. How did it rock their world? That sounded happy and this definitely wasn't happy. Trish glared at the walls in front of her, wondering how it was possibly fair that on the other side of that wall, her stupid redhead of a friend was fighting for his life, all because he just wanted to see her before the show.
