My Halloween Night

I was Trick or treating one Halloween night in 2003. It was CCC ooo lll ddd, spooky, foggy and pitch-black, all at the same time.

All of a sudden, this huge parking lot appeared with a haunted house in the middle of it. I tried to read the sign. I thought it said for ages 5 and up, but what I didn't know was that it said for ages 35 and up.

I entered slowly and it was very terrifying. I asked my Uncle Bill to go outside and read the sign again to see what the age group was. When he got back he said the sign said it was for ages 35 and up.

I started to walk very quickly through the haunted house. It started to get even more terrifying, so I started to run. I tripped on a fake eyeball that was glued onto the floor. I ran into a giant spider web that came from the ceiling to the floor. It was very sticky and I had a hard time getting out of it.

When I finally got loose I ran down the hall toward the exit. I didn't know there were a dozen skeletons waiting by the door and they were all rattling their bones, trying to scare me away from the exit. I kept going and made past them trough the door. I was finally out. I saw another haunted house. I read the sign carefully. It said for ages 4 and up, I was sure of it. I thought it would be a piece of cake, since I was seven. I walked straight through it, and I wasn't even scared.

When I got out of the second haunted house, I continued trick-or-treating. Then I heard a blood-curdling scream, "AHHHHHH!!!!" from a long curved alley that had a curve. I walked closer. I saw a big huge shadow that held a dagger dripping with blood! I turned around, and my Uncle Bill was no longer in sight. I heard another blood-curdling scream. I realized that I was all alone, and that someone was after me. I started running. When I stopped to catch my breath, there was a big shadow close behind me. I turned around, and "AAHHHH!"……………..
