Dear Father and Mother,
I am running away. I'm everything less than perfect, so I'm going to start from scratch. Maybe my new self will meet you in the future. Just remember that I love you lots!

There! It was finished! It was a bit short, but I couldn't think of anything else to say… So I snuck into my parents room, being careful not to wake them, and placed the letter on their bedside table and gave them each a soft kiss on their foreheads, then I crept out and I was on my way.
