Lucy and Susan watched as Aslan walked towards the White Witch. Towards the enemies lair. The White Witch smiled coldly and gestured for Aslan's to walk to the Stone Table. "N—" Lucy was cut off short when Susan put a firm hand over her mouth. Susan shook her head, silencing Lucy. They watched as they tore Aslan's beautiful mane and tied him up. The White Witch laughed and it rang in Lucy's and Susan's ear.

"Kill him…Edmund," Jadis said quietly. Everyone fell silent and Edmund stepped out of the crowd. "Yes your majesty," Edmund retorted. He bowed at Jadis and strolled towards Aslan.

Aslan and Edmund locked eyes, but Edmund broke the bond by looking away. Edmund unsheathed his sword and shouted, "TO THE WHITE WITCH..TO THE QUEEN OF NARNIA!" and he drove the sword right through Alsan's beating heart. Everyone cheered while Susan and Lucy watched in horror. Edmund turned around and saw Lucy and Susan. Before he could react, they fled.

"Aslan is dead," Susan announced the next morning.

There was a outrageous uproars of Narnians. "You liar, daughter of Eve!" someone sneered. "Aslan can't be dead.'

"He is. I saw him, he was murdered. Slaughter," Susan glared.

"By whom?" Peter questioned.

"Edmund…our Edmund," Susan replied quietly. In the background, Lucy sobbed quietly. Susan looked down and turned to go comfort Lucy.

"Are you sure its Edmund?…You could be mistaken…This doesn't sound like Edmund at all," Peter jabbered on.

"It was Edmund," Lucy wailed and cried in Susan's arm.

"She's right. We would know our brother's face when we see it," Susan added sadly.

"…That's it," Peter said, "We're going to war."

The first battle cry was from the West. Hundreds of Narnia charged to Jadis's army with courage. Jadis sat proudly on her horse, "I have no interest in prisoners, kill them all." And her army charged.

Peter hacked and slain many warriors of Jadis. Susan shot her bow and arrow never missing a target. Edmund knocked everyone out of his way or stabbed them with his deadly sword. They were all battling well, Narnians defeating Jadis's attack. The Pevensie were all still fighting well, until Peter and Edmund met in battlefield.

"Edmund, how could you," Peter snarled while circling Edmund, "killing the greatest King of them all. You traitor."

"I'm tired of playing second fiddle," Edmund snarled back, "I deserve to rule and command."

"Why can't you think of anyone, but yourself? Peter shouted.

Edmund didn't reply but tried to jab at Peter. Peter blocked Edmund's attack easily. Edmund tried again snake eying this time, but Peter parried him. "Don't make me do this," Peter pleaded, "Come back to our side." "No!" Edmund shouted, "The White Witch can make me King. I will be able to rule and top you and Susan. I will be powerful!" With that Edmund thrust his sword straight towards Peter, but Peter quickly twisted Edmund's sword and jabbing his right into Edmund's chest. Edmund had a horrified look on his face. "I'm so sorry," Peter whispered as he watched his brother fall to the ground.
