Hey folks! It would appear you have stumbled upon my spinoff from Two Worlds. For those who are new to this story, I have another Avengers fic that this one is a spinoff of. My best friend Kyla (PyroQueenOfFire) and I are hardcore fans of the Avengers and we've recently discovered that upon watching the new movie 4 times in theaters that we hardcore ship Natasha/Bruce. So upon hinting at their relationship in Two Worlds, I've decided to outright make a separate fic for them! I hope you all enjoy it, I'm certainly in love with the story I've come up with. I will continue writing Two Worlds along with this one, this fic will more likely be about 10-15 chapters long.

PROLOGUE

"You get the big guy."

"Coulson, you know Stark trusts me about as far as he can throw me," Natasha said with a smirk as she picked up her heels and stepped over the unconscious Russian lying on the ground.

"Oh no, I get Stark." Coulson said to her over the phone, "You get the big guy."

Natasha stopped as she realized what that meant, "Bozhe moi," She muttered.

She left the warehouse and climbed into the black SUV that awaited her out front sent by SHIELD. Upon closing the door, she placed her heels in empty seat beside her and pulled the folder out of the pocket of the seat in front of her and thumbed threw it as the driver started the car and drove off. Natasha didn't even flinch as there was an explosion in the warehouse from the bomb she'd planted earlier that evening.

The folder held information she'd seen before but in greater deal. Dr. Bruce Banner, once the lead scientist in gamma radiation and heading the project to create super soldiers had been a victim in a gamma experiment gone wrong. His exposure to gamma radiation left him with the ability to grow into an enormous green man who was virtually indestructible and out of control.

While Natasha's exterior showed nothing but concentration, in the pit of her stomach she felt a lead weight as she realized she was going to be meeting face to face with Dr. Banner in order to persuade him to come work with SHIELD to find the recently missing Tesseract.

She turned to a photo of Banner in his human form; he looked like any harmless man. He had a crooked smile and a pair of glasses that made him look like a gentle nerd. The fact that such power laid under the surface and was kept under the control of a mere human pulse had Natasha feeling wary.

She was not the type to feel nervous or wary, but ever since hearing about Banner and his alter ego she was took comfort in knowing she would never have to meet with the human time bomb. She took a deep breath and closed the file as the car approached the tarmac of the airport with a jet waiting to take her to Kolkata where Banner was currently residing and assisting with sickness amongst the population.

She exited the SUV and boarded the plane without a word to any of the agents. She grabbed a duffel back from a shelf and shed her dress and put on her SHIELD uniform without a care for the men watching her. She knew the affect she had on men and it didn't bother her that they stared at her so openly.

Once she was dressed she signaled the pilot to take off, taking a seat on the bench and opening the folder to take some time to memorize the important facts so she could prepare for her approach and first meeting with Banner.

"I'd rather deal with Stark's idiocy than this living monster movie," She muttered to herself as she settled in.
