"You are greater than the stars because you can appreciate their beauty but they cannot appreciate yours." Her breath caught in her throat, warmth washed over her and settled just under her breast. His eyes were swirling pools of blue, there were many emotions some she could see; happiness, joy and a bit of fear and others she did not wish to recognize; desire, longing and something deeper she dare not name. Unable to hold his intense gaze she glanced up with a smile, "What a wonderful thing to say. I shall never look upon the stars the same way again. Thank you."

"I speak only the truth," he replied, his eyes lingering on her upturned face before he too looked to the stars.
