Paul Samuels walks through the snow on his way to Snowpoint City to earn his seventh badge, the Icicle Badge.
He wore his usual clothes, completely ignoring the fridged weather.
A Finneon swam in a small nearby pond.
"Finneon..." he mumbled, watching it for a moment.
He continued walking and looked up at the sky.
Snow fell onto his face and melted into sparkling water. He could've swore he saw a Misdreavous.
"That's strange. First a... then a..." He looked back at the pond, then back at the sky.
He looked foward and in a cave, he saw a Glameow and Shellos.
He shook his head back and forth fast.
He walked foward once again.
He bit his bottom lip as he walked into the Pokemon Center.
"Hello, welcome to the Snowpoint Pokemon Center." the Nurse Joy said.
Paul gave his Pokemon to her and rented a room.
"And Zoey wins yet another Contest Ribbon!" The TV said.
Paul looks up at the TV and sighs. She was on TV again.
Her Glameow bowed with her as she collected her ribbon from Mr. Contesta.
"Why am I always thinking about her," Paul asked himself, and sittind down.
He continued, "Why do I feel like this? How come she falls over when I go near her," He chuckel
"Excuse me?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Huh? Oh, just a... friend." Paul answered, staring at the scarlet haired girl on TV.
She stood in a white shirt. One of the collars folded over the other one. Yellow stars lined the side. She also wore teal green pants and white boots.
Someone put their hands on his shoulders and whispered in his ears,
"So you are thinking about me and staring at me?"
He turned his head and saw her, Zoey.
