The door to the choir room swung open and everyone in the room turned to look at the door. "Blaine? Oh thank Lord I've found you." A gorgeous blonde girl with white blue eyes stood at the door, young toddler asleep in her arms and bags dragging behind her. The dark smart clothes contrasted drastically to the bright and colourful outfit and bags belonging to the child. Blaine crossed the room to give her a hand. "Gabriella, what are you doing here?" He picked the bags off the floor behind her and put them on his shoulder. Some of the football players cramped up in the far corner snickered at the fact that the gay kid knew the 'hottie'. "Look, you've got to take Matty. I've got a last minute interview." The girl carefully passed the sleeping toddler into the confused boy's arms. "Gab's I'm in school. I can't look after him now. Leave him with my sister." The girl stood in a classic diva pose, sarcasm dripping from her tongue. "Yes, Blaine that's a fantastic idea. 'Cause last time she didn't burn down your flat did she."

"Look I got over that, you can." The girl gave him one of the looks – Blaine knew then, he wasn't going to win. "Blaine, he was inside the building, and she left him. He's meant to be staying with you tonight anyway. There's all his stuff for playschool tomorrow in those bags. He needs to have his medication as well, he only fell asleep ten minutes ago in the car. Have fun." And with that the girl ran for the doors leaving Blaine to catch up mentally, but by the time he had she'd long gone.

Blaine turned to the group of people behind him looking at him confused. The worst was the face of his boyfriend and Blaine could see his thoughts passing through his eyes. "Kurt, I'm not cheating on you - especially with a girl." Blaine tried to adjust what he was carrying without waking the little boy. Mr. Schue, the New Direction's club director grabbed the bags from his shoulder as Blaine realigned the young boy to avoid him falling to the floor. "Who's the adorable little boy?" Jack was now positioned in a way that the others could see his face even behind his blond mop of curls. Blaine could hear the girls cooing "Oh, he's adorable." "Look at his face. He's so sweet." "His hair is gorgeous." Etc.

"This Mr. Schue, is Matthew Bradley Anderson - my son." The room went silent except for the sharp intake of breath coming from Kurt. He looked around the room. Mr. Schue had literally frozen, much like many of the guys in the room. A gay kid's got a son, you don't hear that every day. "If you don't mind I'd like to put him down for a rest. I need to give him his medication anyway." Blaine wandered over to an empty part of the first step, unfortunately near to the ham-hock jocks and placed the sleeping boy down making sure he was a good distance away from the edge in case he rolled over so he wouldn't fall and hurt himself.
