I brushed my hand against the broken mirror. Blood stained the carpet. My eyes scanned the shattered house as smoke filled the black sky.
Flames danced across my eyes, ash falling like snow through the open roof.
I could see my mother, Nancy Thompson, lying on the ground, attempting to find her life in darkness. I knelt down next to her, frowning.
My fingers brushed against the side of her pale face, pushing back strands of her dark hair.
"I'm so sorry, mom," My voice cracked just as another voice filled the air.
"Taylor! Are you coming? I didn't come out here just for you to cry all over the carpet!" I turned my head towards the dark shadow standing in the kitchen.
"What do you expect me to do, Freddy? I just killed my own mother!" I screamed, tears streaming down the sidesof my face.
My mother's dark eyes watched me, trying to find why I had done this. 'Why would I want to break the world?'
I really didn't know.
I pushed myself to my feet and drifted towards the man. He grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him. I felt his burnt lips press against mine, blocking out the rest of the world.
I jerked back, my face a mask of anger. "I shouldn't have done this. I shouldn't have fallen in love with you, Krueger, but I did. Now, everyone else has to pay for it."
I walked away from the house, Freddy Krueger by my side.
"But you know you love me, Taylor," Freddy stated.
I rolled my two-colored eyes before drifting closer.
"Yeah, sure. Whatever," I said in a lazy tone.
The only thing we left behind was the flames in the night sky, and the ash falling to the ground.
