A/N) I just felt like writing about Luminous, okay? This might turn out confusing. But it's something I thought about. If even the purest of beings have a hint of darkness, what are the bishops then?

I'm just making this more confusing, aren't I. Eh.

The entire thing came out of the Cleric skill; Holy Arrow.

Luminous took in a sharp breath, his fingers dancing across his staff even as dark energy crackled around it. Pain ripped through his being, but still he persisted, and eventually the black-colored magic was ripped away from him. Immediately, he felt more pure.

But no. He will never be pure. Even the purest of people have a hint of darkness in them.

Aren't bishops impure, then? They learn holy magic - they use holy magic - but if they have a hint of darkness in them, what are they, then? If they are impure, why learn holy magic? If they learn holy magic, why aren't they pure? If they aren't pure, then why are they bishops in the first place?

Paradox, he thought to himself. He narrowed his eyes as another monster spawned in front of him - rage blossomed through him.

Is the lust to kill a taint? Is rage taint? If bishops can feel rage, are they tainted? If they are tainted, how are they pure? If they are pure, then rage cannot be called taint. But darkness knows everything about rage and the lust to kill. So then, is rage and the lust to kill taint?

Blood spattered across the ground as light magic ripped through the unfortunate monster.

If light magic is used to kill, isn't it dark magic? Isn't light magic used to heal and help, not kill? If darkness is used to kill and holy magic not, then why is Holy Arrow invented? Why was any offensive holy spells invented?

Luminous shook his head and focused on another monster. Swinging his staff again, waves of light sliced through the monster and behind it too.

I'm just confusing myself.

Holy spells are meant to help - then what are bishops? Are bishops using dark magic to attack? Then why are they called the users of holy magic, and holy magic only? Is holy magic just dark magic with a different taint? Why are they differentiated?

Stop it! Stop confusing myself and let's train!

What is holy magic?

What is their use, and why are they almost the same as dark magic when used in a certain manner?

Luminous focused on another monster in front of him.

A bolt of light shot out towards it - with a dying cry of pain, Luminous almost felt a wave of pity.

Bishops always felt pity. Bishops were meant to heal. But not this one. This one almost felt one. And almost is not good enough. This bishop is not a bishop. This bishop is a dark user. Why is he holding the name of the bishop, when bishops used light magic?

Paradox.

A/N) I HAD FUN. YOU CAN'T STOP ME FROM HAVING FUN.

La la la la, isn't this confusing?

Edit: I know they're healers. :P I just wanted to make Luminous confused. I'll bet some of you got confused. Oh yes you did. Don't deny it. :D Anyways. I just wanted to try out a new kind of writing. And this spiraled out while thinking of Holy Arrow. :P
