Happy birthday

Sasuke sat among the presents that his friends had bought him, he never asked for these presents.

He glared at the shiny wrapping and bows that covered what the present really was, he hated his birthday.

Everyone thought they had the right to hug him or wish him a happy birthday, he didn't want any of that.

"Happy birthday Sasuke-kun." he looked up to see his pink haired teammate smiling at him. A small box was in her hands, it had plan purple wrapping and a white bow. The Uchiha was hit with an urge to tear open the box, his palms sweated lightly and his neck heated up. Sasuke grunted a loud, "Hn." and nodded to the table. Sakura smiled and placed the box on the table, she didn't want to bother him to much, he already looked like a stick was crammed up his butt.

As the young Uchiha's party progressed into the night, he still wasn't having the least bit of fun.

So far Shikamaru had fallen asleep and Naruto had taken the liberty of drawing things all over his face, Ino had suggest to play spin the bottle, seven minutes in heaven, cuddle bug, and truth or dare, all the while staring at Sasuke. Choji had eaten all the food, his piece of cake and Sasuke's piece, he wasn't much of a sweet eater any ways. Lee and Naruto had started karaoke, Ten Ten was singing with them, Neji was sitting quietly staring at Ten Ten the whole time she sung, even though it sounded like wailing to Sasuke, Kiba left early to go take Akamaru on a walk, Shino was sitting in a corner…doing who knows what, Hinata was attempting to talk to Naruto and Sakura was…well Sasuke hadn't seen Sakura ever since she handed him his present.

The young Uchiha picked up the small purple box and looked around for the giver, he looked out on the balcony and found Sakura sitting there staring up at the night sky.

Sasuke noticed how her pink hair shined, her skin glowed under the pale moon light, her jewel eyes sparkled brighter than the stars in the sky and how her pink full lips looked very soft.

He stepped out onto his balcony and grunted a 'Hn.' so she would acknowledge that he was there. Sakura quickly whipped her head around to see him standing there, a soft blush crept up on her cheeks, "O hello Sasuke-kun."

The said boy walked over and leaned against the railing next to her, he carefully placed the box between them. Sakura's jade eyes looked down to see the box, panic rose and rushed through her. Did he not want it, she thought.

"It's not like that," said the raven haired boy, practically reading the girl's mind. Relief washed over the girl like a soft summer's rain, she smiled.

"Sakura…" The said girl looked up into Sasuke's black eyes, "Yes, Sasuke-kun?"

Heat raced up the said boy's neck as he leaned close, his eye's locked with Sakura's. The girls blush deepened as his face neared hers. The pink headed girl watched as Sasuke' s eyes slowly closed and his lips parted slightly, she found herself leaning closer and closer. Her eyes slowly closed as her lips pressed against his, she felt his hands grip her arms gently and pull her closer.

They kissed passionately, pouring every emotion they had for each other into this simple kiss.

Sakura's arms slowly snaked up and around his neck, Sasuke's arms slid up her arms and tangled his fingers through her soft pink hair.

They pulled away from each other slowly, wanting the kiss to last for eternity. They opened there eyes, jade and onyx clashed creating fireworks.

"Sakura…thank you. You are a present above all else." Sakura's cheeks were painted a deep pink color as there lips met once more.

The stars in the sky sparkled brighter as they watched the passionate kiss, because that night two separated souls were finally reunited.
