The light reflected off of the silver pistol as it was held tightly in the brown-haired girl's right hand. She shot at the demons with ease, damn these demon hunter jobs were getting easier all the time. She sighed as she went into a room and smirked when she saw a red, shimmering object "Bingo" She muttered as she went over to it and reached out to grab it but quickly jumped back when a demon came out from the ground. She stared and rolled her eyes then blew a strand of hair out of her face "Seriously? This is supposed to be challenging?" She asked as she shot at it but the demon deflected the bullets with its scythe then slammed her into a wall and held her there. She yelped and continued to shoot at it until it disappeared. She fell to her knees and gasped for air as her blue eyes looked up and multiple demons appeared around her. This was bad, she was almost out of bullets and these monsters were actually smarter than before. She rolled out of the way when one of them slammed his mallet down on the ground and broke the floor. She quickly jumped up then shot as many as she could, she growled when her bullets ran out then she punched and kicked at the demons that would get close to her.
Coming to the realization that she would lose, she just backed up once more and closed her eyes when her back made contact with the wall. This was so pathetic to her but what else could she do? Her over confidence cost her this mission and possibly her life as well. She kept her eyes closed as for her end to come but it seemed like it never would. She let out a sigh and opened her eyes then blinked as she saw the well known demon hunter standing in front of her, watching her with a smirk. The white haired male chuckled and placed his hand on the wall, near her head "Hey Sydney, are you just going to stand there for the rest of your life?" He asked, teasing her then added "By the way gorgeous aren't you gonna thank me for saving you?"
Sydney glared at him and looked away "Thank you" She said pushing past him but growled when he grabbed her arm "Damn it Dante, what do you want now? I already said thank you, what more do you want? Do you want me to get on my knees and praise you or something?" She asked, honestly annoyed about this whole situation. She couldn't believe that she had to be saved by Dante when she was fully capable of doing everything herself. She was looking down at the ground as she waited for dante to make fun of her.
The male demon hunter pulled her into his arms and smiled faintly down at her "actually I was thinking that I could get a kiss from you as a reward. You don't know how long I've been dying to kiss those beautiful rosy lips of yours" he said in an honest manner, leaving her more than shocked as the only thing she could do was nod. Dante smirked and leaned down to kiss her on the lips. She immediately wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her.
They kissed each other gently for a bit before Dante pulled away slightly "thank you for the reward. Meet me at my place babe. I'll ask you out there" he said, putting his sword away then ran up a wall and jumped out of the hole he had made in the ceiling. He looked down at her and winked at her as he then disappeared. Sydney stared up, still in shock then touched her lips as a blush formed on her cheeks, this was a dream come true.
