Shadow's curse
"Why me, I didn't want this. I don't want to be immortal please don't punish for something that I had no power over!" Screamed shadow. The demonic looking beast woman eyes widen and put up a hand "don't you dare speak out of turn you ungrateful scum." "Shadow, this is a curse to keep you from causing a disruption in the balance of nature, think of this more a favor you, but one to keep people safe." A tear streaked down shadows eye, he was terrified and yet knew he had no power to stop her. As she performs the incantation, shadow tried to run but it was too late. A lighting bolt came crashing down striking him and he woke up.
Shadow
Shadow quickly sat upright, panting from his horrid dream. He had been having these night terrors for a while now, ever since that damn beast put a curse in him. He tried to lay his head down but right as his head hit the pillow the door slammed open. "Shadow!, get your but out of bed and get dressed or you will be late to school!" Shadow thought to himself how wonderful it would be to miss school. He was a outcast to his school, that one kid who sat alone and never talks to anyone. He always envied a certain group that sat next to him that always had a smile, or was making jokes about the popular people on campus. He knew he could never fit in, for one he was socially awkward and two his curse made sure he could never find true happiness in this world. Shadow got up and started heading to school dreading the day ahead, he saw sonic rushing out of his house in a rush. Shadow thought to himself "wonder why he is so in a hurry" but quickly brushed away the thought thinking of how he could manage the rest of his day. To quickly shadow arrived at school and to a deep breath and opened the glass door.
Sonic
Sonic was rushing to grab all of his stuff, he needed to go pick up tails. He never walked without him because tails was always too afraid that he was going to get robbed or kidnapped. So sonic took the liberty of walking him to school sonic collected all of his junk, he bolted out the door and almost feel when the aching feeling of his curse kicked in. He stood in pain for a second and cursed under his breath. He gathered his strength and started to run. Once sonic arrived at tails house, he heard the small voice "sonic, where the hell have you been it's been freaking ages!" Said tails. Sonic frowned his eyebrows and said "dude, I just saw you walk out that door, you've been waiting for 10 minutes get over it" they both started to laugh, then they both heard a small scream heading there way. "Sssssoooonnnniiicccc!" Screamed Amy. Sonic mentally and physically prepared himself, then he felt hands grab him for the back and she said "guess who". Sonic made a small annoyed noise and said is it your mom!" Tails found this funny, so did sonic but Amy was not amused so she punched sonic Bentley on the shoulder and they all started heading to school. Once they reached the door they stood there for a second and all took and breath and then opened the glass door.
Knuckles
Knuckles was always left behind, he didn't mind but sometimes it got lonely having to walk to school by himself everyday. He knew that Amy, tails, and sonic all walked together but he didn't want to bother them. He grabbed his things and started heading to school. His next door neighbor shadow just came out at the same time and knuckles glanced at him seeing how angry he looked. Knuckles didn't want to think too much about the dark hedgehog so instead he asked his mom to drive him. Once he reached the school he saw his friends head inside so he went running after them leaving the car door open.
Shadow
Shake sheared over to first period which was bio. He sat down and his lab partner came running in late. Mr. Snickerdoodle yelled "sonic why are you late again?" Sonic was gasping for air and managed to say "had...to...pick...up...tails". Mr. Snickerdoodle brushed it off and just marked him late. The teacher then said "well class, today we are going to tear open a frog and dissect it" the whole class screamed "EW!" And this made shadow chuckle. He laughed at the fact they had it hard, he was cursed for god's sake nobody knew his pain except the others, for the beast said she cursed. She never told he who these people where only that it was a similar curse in which we are all connected.
