Wedding Dress
DAY ONE
A 12 Days of Frozen Drabble
Main Character(s): Anna & Elsa
What's this?: A 12-day drabble writing for the Frozen fandom. You may do this as well for your self-motivational writing process!
Listen up: I am allowing anyone to expand my written drabbles. However, I need to see credits. Otherwise, it's called "plagiarism" or, well, basically "stealing" one's ideas or work.
"Anna, what are you doing?" Elsa asked dubiously as she stared at her sister who was struggling to force herself into a tight, Victorian era white ball gown. Actually, it's more than just a ball gown. It's actually a wedding dress that Anna has to wear for her wedding with Kristoff which will happen, well, tomorrow. Anna had gotten so hooked up on what the wedding will look like, she merely forgotten what she herself as the bride was going to wear on the day itself.
"Um, desperately trying to find the perfect wedding dress?" Anna asked, rolling her eyes at her sister.
"Thank you for the information, Captain Obvious." Elsa shook her head as she rose from the couch and went over to help her sister with the dress. "In the name of Arendelle, Anna, must you really protrude yourself to such a… Marie Antoinette like wedding?"
"It's not Marie Antoinette since we lack a number of macarons and cake!" Anna defended as she felt her sister forcing the torso up. Apparently, she had decided to try wearing the gown from the top. So now the torso of the gown is on her hips. "You made it easy during your wedding with Hans."
"That's because I decided that my wedding dress on that day was a little more me than a little more Carlotta from the Phantom of the Opera." Elsa grunted as she pulled up the torso of the dress. It was starting to move, which was apparent progress.
It took Elsa and Anna at least thirty minutes (which was quite enough for one gown) to fit Anna. Anna was twirling around, delighted that the whole thing was on her now. As Elsa watched her sister, she sat on the couch, completely spent from the dress fitting.
"Is that the one you want?" Elsa asked tiredly as she closed her eyes.
Anna stopped to stare at her sister weirdly. "What do you mean this is the one I want? Elsa, this is only dress one."
Elsa's eyes opened in surprise as she stared at her sister, horrified. "I thought you said you were already fitting the moment I got here?"
"Yeah," Anna laughed like it was the most obvious thing. She put a hand on her hip as she says, "That "fitting" is actually this dress. Wedding dresses don't really go this is the one at first sight. It needs to have a feel, an emotion, a style, a complex history."
As Anna rambled on how important a wedding dress is, Elsa groaned as she retreated from the fitting room. It took Anna at least five minutes to realize that her sister had already went off. She moaned in frustration as she looked at herself in the mirror.
Once she realized how Marie Antoinette she looked in her dress, she felt annoyed. "Um, Elsa? Can I pretty please get some help taking off this dress? I kinda… I kinda look like one of those crazy Victorian women with the fancy wigs and ribbons now!"
AN: As mentioned, you may expand this drabble, but only if I can permit you. You can ask me via PM so I'll know. If possible, please do tell me your idea for the said expansion of the drabble. That's a wrap for day one! I hope you enjoyed it! ^^
