A.N. Sorry it's so short and not very good. I did this awhile ago and just found it today, so I felt like sharing. Hope you enjoy it. In Max's P.O.V. during The Killer in the Concrete.

My daughter is in love with an F.B.I. Agent. The same agent that is currently trying to arrest me. Sure, she doesn't know it, but he does, and I do. I knew when I saw her reaction to that tooth. A tooth, in the hallway of a cheap hotel turned my usually rational little girl into someone who punches dangerous bounty hunters without a second thought. That crazed shout, "Where's Booth," followed by a frantic, "Kennedy's got Booth, Dad, he's got Booth," and I knew. I figured out what she was too BLIND to see and what he was too scared to admit. Because he loved her too. Enough to want to keep her forever. Enough to know that she didn't respond too well to people loving her. Enough to know that being her best friend and partner had to be enough for him if he didn't want to chance losing her forever. So, yes, my daughter is in love with an F.B.I. Agent, one who loves her back.
