It's Christmas
Marah and Dustin were out shopping for Christmas. She was running to all the different shops to find the perfect presents for all their friends. It was the first Christmas as a married couple and they found so much more joy in everything that it was Christmas.
"Dustin do you think Shane would like this?" She showed him a CD.
He grabbed it and smiled. "Dude, Shane would so love that."
She grinned and put it in their basket. Dustin watched his beautiful wife bounce here and there pulling in more then they needed, but not wanting to stop her. He couldn't believe that they were together after all that had happened. He didn't think anything would happen with them but then he wouldn't give her up for everything, she had his love, his soul.
Marah grabbed her husbands hand as they were looking for a Christmas tree; Tori had once remarked that she was much like a little kid in dealing with Christmas. But could anyone really blame her? They didn't have this elsewhere and this was a wonderous time. Everyone all over celebrated, although as cousin had pointed out it wasn't for everyone. Different people celebrated differently. But she didn't care as she had pronounced it a world holiday.
Tonight Dustin and her were decorating their first tree together, she loved that. She wanted to be with Dustin more then anything after their first real encounter and then getting to know him had only made her like him more. She was so lost in her thoughts she was startled as Dustin grabbed her hand and dragged her to the most beautiful tree she had ever seen.
After buying it they brought it to their house and decorated it. They had a couple of mishaps, Marah accidentally tripped Dustin while reaching over to get an ornament, but they finally finished it after a few hours. Dustin plugged it the lights and they stood back to admire it.
"It's beautiful." Marah gasped.
"Yeah it is." Dustin turned Marah towards himself and smiled at her. "I love you."
Marah smiled sweetly back. "I love you too."
They shared a sweet kiss sending their love to the other through their contact. After which they sat by the tree with some hot chocolate and admired their work.
