(A/N): Yet another prompt written for the drabble reproduced below:

Choose a fandom from the list below, and if you want, some characters as well. Then pick a prompt from one of these three websites; (websites ommited due to FFNet's regulations) (FMyLife, MyLifeIsAverage and TextsFromLastNight) and I will write you a drabble concerning that prompt and characters.

Here we go!

Prompt: "Today, I was awakened by the sound of chain-saws. Moments later a tree branch came through my roof."

Series: Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's

Characters requested: Jack, Crow, and Yuusei while living in Neo Domino.

Reconstruction

It couldn't be denied that the rebuilding of Neo Domino was a bad thing, especially after all the damage it had taken during the war against the Dark Signers.

It certianly couldn't be denied that the building of the Daedalus Bridge that had stood for so long incompleted was a bad thing, especially all that had been done (and lost) to make a world where it could exist possible.

However, it also couldn't be denied that certian aspects of the rebuilding weren't as appealing...particularly if you lived near the border, formerly known as the Diamond Area.

"GODDAMMIT, CROW!!!! WHERE DID YOU GET THE IDEA TO STAY HERE?!?!?!"

If the loud crash that had preceded that outcry hadn't been enough to wake the aforementioned bird up, the equally as loud (and quite possibly louder) outburst would certianly have been.

"Oh, I dunno!" countered Crow, irritable both at the outburst and the rude awakening caused by a crashing tree branch. "Perhaps it might be to be close to the dream I've been cherishing since I was little?! I never asked you to shack up with me here! I never pressed you! You're free to go whenever you please!!!"

"FINE! I'm tired of this dump! I'm finding a place that's more suited to the fine tastes of Jack Atlas!" And then there was another crash coming from the door being slammed-not quite as loud as the crash of the tree branch driving itself through their ceiling, but somehow having more of an impact.

"Jeez, I can't believe this guy!" Crow muttered to himself, masking the twisting pain he felt at the blond man's overreaction. "All he's done is be a pain the whole time he's been here! We don't need him..."

The only response from Yuusei (who had been awake much earlier as his custom, and had heard the entire exchange from under the new D-Wheel test frame they had recently aquired) was a pat on the shoulder. He knew, and he knew that Crow knew too, that the place most suited to the fine tastes of Jack Atlas was right here, with them.

"We'd best clean up before he gets back and throws another fit."

And Crow only grinned, a little weakly at first, but soon becoming his usual infectious, cheeky smirk.

"He'll find something else to throw a fit about. He's Jack Atlas after all."

"Perhaps it would be best to not tell him that I used his special black tea to treat that apologizing construction worker, then."
