Hello! This is a Christmas present for my darling friend Angel! It's also dedicated to our overly awesome obsession of the pairing Cain/Riff!
Disclaimer: I WISH!
The reason for the shortness it because I have a very small attention span and I have a habit of getting right to the point instead of taking it slow. Also, please excuse the horrid writing.
Snowman Kisses
Riff was standing outside in the freezing cold one snowy winter day. 'Why in the world did he make me come out here out here with him?' he thought to himself. 'If he wants to freeze to death that's fine by me, but making me join him is an entirely different story!'
"Riff!" Cain wined while leaning over a giant ball of snow. "Come help me!"
"In this weather? I hardly can even understand how you are able to handle it!"
"Please?" the look on the young Earl's face was enough to get anybody to do what he wanted.
"Fine," the older man rolled his eyes as Cain shot up with a smile on his face that made him look as if he was a young child again. "What do you want me to do?"
"Well, I already have the bottom of the snowman done, so I'll make the middle and you can work on the head."
Riff hurriedly made the snowman's head, wishing that he could be anywhere but out in the cold. "Here," he said, shoving the ball of snow into the dark haired boy's hands, who then placed it on the snowman's middle.
"Here, help me put this on."
Riff helped the younger man place the body on the bottom. "Are we finished now?" he asked. Cain frowned.
"Be patient! You truly take the fun out of everything!" Riff scoffed. Cain pulled out a basket filled with coal, buttons, and a scarf. He placed everything on while Riff just watched. "Strange, I could have sworn that I had put a carrot in here."
A smile found its way onto the servants face. "I could go inside and get one for you."
"It's alright," Cain smirked. "I wouldn't make you do that. The gardens are right over there, I'll just go grab one."
Riff watched his master run into the distance. 'He sure enjoys torturing me,' he sadly thought. "What the-" The man jumped as Cain promptly poked the man hard in the back. "What was that for?" he asked rubbing the small of his back.
The smaller boy simply shrugged and shoved the orange vegetable into the middle of the snowman's face. "You may go ahead in, Riff. I'll just be another minute."
"Thank you sir," He had walked only a few yards when he was smacked right in the middle of his head with a snowball. He quickly turned around. "Now Cain-OW!" The man fell over because of the many snowballs being thrown at him. He closed his eyes waiting for more attacks, but they never came. From above he could faintly hear the sounds of Cain's muffled laughter. As soon as he opened his eyes the boy stopped his giggling. "What do you have to say for yourself?" Riff angrily asked.
"I am terribly sorry for throwing those snowballs at you and I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me," Cain said almost too seriously, before he smiled and leaned down to whisper in his servant's ear. "But I could never be truly sorry for this," he quickly pecked Riff on the lips while the man's eyes widened in shock. Cain stood back up, smiled, and ran back to the house leaving Riff lying their in the snow.
"Wow."
And this concludes my sucky thing that I call a story. bows REVIEW!
