The long days always ended up in a stern twilight, the brightness of the day giving way to the darkness of night. The nights were always the best, because the bright stars glimmering and the illuminecent moon glowing always seemed to calm my mood. With no one being around, its like i'm the only one watching the calm, starry sea of midnight blue that lies above us. I always walk home from work at about 7 pm. I'm a high schooler, so I cant work longer than that. I work at a pizza place called Johnnys Pizza. It's a fun place.
And then, the bodies were found. Four bodies. All of them small. Children. They had found four children. One was in a freezer. One was hanging on a meat hook. One was found behind the place in several garbage bags. The other one was in one of the back rooms that no kid could get into. No one knew how he got in. The parents were all crying. They all had trusted the kids to be alone. They all ended up dying. Most parents with their kids ended up moving from this town since the killer was never found. There were two girls and two boys. The names were Mary, West, Karina, and Luke. They were known around town as the troublemakers. They were just kids having fun, though. They didn't really mean any harm.
The nights that followed after always seemed to pale in comparison to the nights that came before everything happened. the statts didnt shine as bright. There was still one girl missing. There was little hope of finding her. as body after body was found, the hope of finding the kids alive became less and less. The girls name was Wendy. She was sweet, and the youngest out of the kidnappings. Her dad was the owner of the pizza place. he had planned to shut it down after all the kids went missing, but the money and peoples jobs convinced him to stay. It wasn't just about him, we had lives, too. My parents wanted to move, but I told them no and so they stayed. We watched the news stories as they were trying to solve the case. They could never find any evidence or anything. Untill they found the next body.
They found her. They had finally found the body. Little Wendy. Covered in blood. They found a knife along with the body. No fingerprints. Shoetracks, but then they suddenly vanish. The person either cleaned up after themselves or they took off their shoes. The person had large shoes. They would've had to have been six foot tall or even taller. No one knows what they look like. But the news stories still tried to find them.
