Leaf was the new girl at school. She knew nothing about the "rules" there. Although, after some time of exploring, she found a small clearing in the bushes which she calls her Secret Hideout. She was bored on her own, and decided to go play. She stared at her choices. She could either play with the girls, who were in the sandbox making castles, or play with the boys, who were on the playground performing tricks. She decided to go with the boys, not seeing the point of making sand castles if they'd get trampled on. She shyly walked up to a boy with spiky brown hair.
"C-can a please play with you?..." she asked quietly. The boy's eyes flew open in surprise.
The boy opened his mouth.
"GIRLLLL!" he yelled. Suddenly, boys streamed out of tunnels, from swingsets, under slides. There were boys everywhere. A boy with long red hair made a disgusted look at her, and a boy with a reversed, black cap with a gold stripe in the middle looked like he wanted to tackle her.
"What are you doing here?" the spiky haired boy snarled.
"I-I just wanna play with you gu-" she began
"No" the boy said, simply.
"But..." she continued.
"BUTTS ARE FOR POOPING, NOW GET OUT!" he yelled.
This took Leaf by surprise. Not knowing to do anything else, she ran into her secret hideout, only to find a boy with a red cap sitting by a tree.
"Hey, what are YOU doing at my secret hideout?!" she snarled.
The boy looked at her.
"What do you mean? This is MY secret hideout!" he replied loudly.
She blinked. The same secret hideout? It's not secret anymore.
"We could share it." Leaf said.
The boy nodded.
"Let's become friends!" he cheerfully said.
"But none of that kissy stuff!" Leaf said, as cheerful as he was.
"Gross, no!" he laughed.
"Well, my name is Leaf, and I'm 6 years old." she introduced herself.
"My name is Red, and I'm 6 too!" he said, smiling.
I'm done with this one! Chapter, I mean... Eh... Well, you guys know that this series is called the Chronicles of The Burning Leaf, it's the story I talked about in the third chapter of Heartbroken.
