Ok, a random one-shot, coz I have writers block. I wondered how Wendy would react when she realised Peter had forgotten about her, and I'm now into the whole fandom of Hook/Wendy. But this story isn't really a Hook/Wendy story.

I knew it.

He promised he wouldn't, but he did.

He went back, I let him, and he forgot.

Just like he promised he wouldn't.

I still see him, oh yes. I see him almost every day, flying around here like he owns the place. Swinging punches and god knows what else at us.

What have we done to him? It's what he's done to us that provokes us.

I see him every day, and I'm surprised that he still hasn't recognised me. He's completely forgotten me, and he hasn't even killed me yet!

Well, not physically.

"I forget them after I kill them" he told me.

That was the last thing he said to me, before he stole my daughter away.

Oh, I still see her too. She flies around with him, fighting us off, just like him.

Of course, I never hit her. I only ever come near her to see if she recognises me.

She never does.

Well she does recognise me, just not as her mother.

To both of them, I am Red Handed Jill. Not Wendy Darling.

He brainwashed her, he brainwashed my Jane, just like he did with the rest of them. Those Lost Boys.

Oh, I can't believe this. They're back. Probably to throw another goddam coconut at my head.

I grab my sword, this is it. He is going to regret the very day he appeared at my daughter's bedroom window!

I appear on deck, same as always, and scan the skies. They're both here, Peter and Jane.

It's a full on battle now.

"Do you recognise me?" I ask, whilst in combat.

"Of course!" he replies. My eyes light up.

"You're Red Handed Jill, just as bad as any male pirate I've ever seen!"

The light goes out.

"Oh, I'm surprised that you don't recognise your mother!" I snap.

"You're not my mother! My mother shut the window on me! Jazz is my new mother!" he exclaims, and tries to stab me again. Sneaky little devil.

"Who's Jazz?" I ask. He points to Jane.

That does it. He has taken my daughters memories, and now her name.

"Do you even know what her REAL name is?" I ask. Oh, his time will be up soon!

"It's Jazz!" he yells. "Always has been, always will be!"

"It's not, you fool! It's Jane!" I scream, and lunge forward.

"Huh?"

"I am her mother! Oh wait, I forget. You don't think she has a mother, you forgetful fool! And I used to be yours! Not the one who shut you out, but the one who followed you here, who looked after you, who danced with you in the moonlight! I gave you my hidden kiss, and now you steal my daughter from me!"

"What?" Jane turns around in the air and stares at me.

"Don't listen to her, Jazz! She's just a big a liar as any of the others!" Peter says.

Oh, his time is definitely up!

"Don't you recognise me, Jane!?" I ask, turning to face her.

A spark has just lit in Jane's eyes. Is this good or bad?

"But isn't my name Jazz?" she asks.

"No, that's what your nickname is! I called you it all the time when you were little! When we lived together!"

"I used to live with a pirate!" She spat out the word Pirate like it was a drop of poison on her tongue.

"No! I came here searching for you, as somebody here didn't bring you home, like he PROMISED!" I glare at Peter, then run and try and stab him. As always, he avoids the tip of my sword.

"Is that why you never attack me? Why you always go for him?" she asks. I nod, and run back inside, leaving them to their shouting match.

And someone has just knocked on my cabin door.

It's her.

"Mom?" I hear her cry through the keyhole.

And I run and embrace the child that has been missing for years.

Oh, I just realised how crappy the ending is.

Oh well, R&R sil-vous-plait?
