Sniffing the air, Sparklez looked up from the book he'd been reading about enchanments and looked up as Ant took a seat next to him on a sofa, feeling the weight shift as he did so.
"Cookies? Never thought you liked to cook stuff other than for those adventures of yours." Sparklez said, teasingly as he noticed the plate on the other's hands.
"No jokes about me being a housewife? That's a first." Ant snapped back at Sparklez as he made himself comfortable.
"Ouch. You didn't have to hurt my feelings like that." Sparklez whinned as he made a 'hurt' face at Ant.
"Oh, whatever shall I do?" Ant said, voice dripping with sarcasm as he rolled his eyes.
"Hm," Sparklez murmered, as he pretended to be thinking, "Give me one of your cookies and we'll call it even?"
"Fine, take one, see if I care." Ant huffed, holding the plate out within Sparklez's reach.
Sparklez was about to put down the book he was holding in favour of taking one of the cookies, when an idea suddenly spourted in his head. "I want you to feed me one."
Ant raised an eyebrow. "You have hands. Why would I feed you?"
"To make up for hurting my feelings, silly." Sparklez then grinned, shuffling himself closer to the other so that their bodies met, he then made sure to smile sweetly, before saying, "You can't deny this face, can you~?"
Ant had almost instantly looked away as soon as he'd finished his sentence, but Sparklez could clearly tell that the other was blushing. Still refusing to look at him, Ant then took a cookie from the plate with his free hand and then shyly brought it to his face. Sparklez didn't hesitate to bite down on the small pastary treat, very much enjoying the sweet taste of the crumbs in his mouth.
"Wow, Ant, I would be lying if I said you didn't belong in a kitchen." Sparklez said as he swallowed his mouthful, grinning widely.
"I knew it!" Ant yelled, finally facing him, his face still a bright shade of red. "I knew you'd come up with another one of those housewife jokes!"
