An InuYasha story

Summery: On the night of the new moon, you could hear the cries of a little girl. In the distance, a thunder crack, the sound of heavy rain could be heard, as the little girl's cries sounded into the cold, starlit night.

Author's Note: Hi ya! Names Haru Inuzuka, just call me Haru please. Anyway, bad title I know, give me a break I wrote this a while ago, so sue me. Oh yah! This is a crossover with Yu Yu Hakusho, and as for the pairings… you'll have to read to find out! On with the story!

Interduction: "In the beginning"

Hi, my name is Kagome Higurashi and I am your average Jr high school girl, that is, until my 15th birthday, when I discovered that I could travel 500 years back in time, threw the ancient well at our shine.

There I meet the dog hanyou, InuYasha, oh, InuYasha's father was a dog demon lord, named Inu No Taisho, who ruled the lands of the west over 500 or more years ago, who died protecting his wife Isaiya and InuYasha as an infant. Isaiya, of whom was the daughter of a human lord, died as well when he was a child, making him a half-demon.

He later fell in love with Kikyo, a powerful village priestess, who was at the time guarding the Shikon No Tama or Jewel of four Souls. She also fell in love with him but Naraku, who was once a human bandit, tore them apart, making it appear they betrayed each other, when in fact it was he all along. InuYasha's a little rough around the edges, has a short temper and we fight a lot, but I know he has kind side to him, I just wish he would show it more.

After that I met Shippo, the young fire-fox demon kit, who lost his father to the thunder brothers, of whom they were soon after killed by InuYasha and uses his 'fox fire' whenever there's trouble.

Then there's the flirtatious monk Miroku, who has a cursed 'wind-tunnel' in his right-hand, of which was passed down though the generations, from his grandfather's time, of which was caused by the evil spider hanyou, Naraku.

After Miroku, I met a demon slayer named Sango, of who lost her whole family, but her little brother Kohaku, who is being controlled by her family's murder, Naraku and her two-tailed, cat demon companion/childhood friend, Kirara.

Together we go on a quest to destroy Naraku and gather all the shards of the Sacred Jewel. It's been about half a year now, since I met InuYasha and the others. Were still chasing Naraku, but it's becoming harder to catch up with him, and then, about two weeks ago, we lost him, he just vanished into thin-air.

Now I am 15 and a half years old, starting Sarayashiki Jr high school in the ninth grade and, little did I know, that the following morning I would met someone that will, in the near future, save us all…

Prologue

As the sun rose over the horizon, the early morning mist settled over modern-day Tokyo, Japan. Within the shrouds of the mist, you could see the shadowy silhouette of an ancient shine and beyond an even older well with a secret, only a select few know of. But that is soon to change, for within the days to come, the lives of five beings and countless others, of the past, present and the future, depends on one soul to save them all from destruction…
