18th B-Day
Today is my 18th B-Day. We have beaten Naraku, but the jewel is still
incomplete. The whole is Miroku's hand is gone. He still gropes women, but
not as much. Sango has her brother back. He remembers her and their
village, but nothing of what he did to us.
Today is my 18th B-Day. Do you think anyone here knows? In a few days, I'll
go home. I'll come back after a week. There, I'll have a real birthday
party. Then I'll come back so we can complete the jewel.

Would Inuyasha? What would they do for a party? How would they do it? Would

Today is my 18th B-Day. Just another day in the life of a miko/time
traveler. Almost nothing surprises me anymore. If Tokyo were suddenly
swarmed with killer bees. No, been there, done that. If were to win a trip
to America. Exciting, but not surprising.

noise coming from Kaede's hut. I wonder what's going on. Who cares? I guess
I better go and get dinner started. What I wouldn't give for some Oden
right now. Huh! What a life!

dark in here? I lit a torch. Someone shouted, "SURPRISE!" Everyone from the
village is here. They all helped out making everything. What a nice
birthday surprise! They bring me a cake with candles on top. I didn't know
they had candles. I blow them out and make a wish. Sigh. There's only one
thing I wish would happen. Maybe someday my wish will come true.
Today is my 18th B-Day. I have finally had my first real kiss! It was from
Inuyasha! He had taken me outside and told me that now he was all done
protecting Kikyo, so he could focus entirely on me. Then we kissed! I could
taste his love for me on his lips.
