The cherry blossom fell slowly from the dying sakura trees outside the wooden porch. It was like watching a magnificent dance of warriors who had tried to hold out for as long as possible... Much like Akito herself.
Despite everything that had happened in the few years she'd lived, she was still here, fighting. Watching the same scene with a different mind.
She sat in a chair with the faintest of smiles that was lost in the world inside her head - until Shigure pulled her back.
His sturdy hand came to rest on her shoulder which in turn caused her smile to be directed up at him with her eyes focusing on the present, he who so gladly returned that smile of contentment.
Perfection was of course far away, and still looked to be impossible to find with the Sohma's, however, nobody and nothing was perfect in the world. Everyone and everything had it's flaws, but the beginning of acceptance to these flaws made life so much easier.
As the wind stirred up a bitter chill, Shigure looked over to the gardens that had captured his love's attention and kept his smile, hoping their life would fall into place as easily as the leaves fell to the ground - accepting an end that would bring about new beginnings.

If you didn't already know, I wrote an AkitoxShigure (AkiGure) fanfiction a long time ago, and planned a 2nd chapter for it. However... Since then, a lot of stuff has gone down.
Due to this, I haven't been in the mindset to write any fanfictions. Especially for deep romance - like my other fanfiction - and even more so for this pairing (because I empathize on such a deep level with Akito and Shigure).
But there's good news for the few who were looking forward to that 2nd chapter; I'm getting myself back together. :) I don't think I'll ever be 'fixed' or 'back to normal', but I'm trying my best not to let that stop me.
Which is why I have redrafted my plan for the 2nd chapter and will start writing it this month! Which I'm surprisingly looking forward too because I just want a nicer wrap up end too it.
I do have exams going on at the moment but as soon as they are finished I will tank through this chapter!

SO! This very small... Well. Not even fluff really. More like, briefing? Is just to let you guys know I'm alive, I'm in the right mindset now, and I am more than ready to get back into writing! Please look out for my new (and obviously bulkier) fanfictions :D
