One day, she literally appears in front of Jack. They stare, until:
"Dammit!" she cries, clenching her fist and turning.
"Wha- Rose? The hell?" Immediately, her whole being focuses on him.
"You recognize me?"
"Should I not?"
"The Jack Harkness in my universe is dead," she explains evenly. He swallows a half-bitter laugh and instead walks up to hug her.
"Things aren't always how they seem. You know that, 'Available, Very,'" he says into her hair. At this, her hands dig into the back of his shirt.
Tentatively, "Jack?"
"We have a lot of catching up to do, sweetheart."
