Okay here is a little one shot of Haley and Klaus , just watched the season finale and saw that cute little moment between them , so I decided to write this . I hope you guys like it this is my first one- shot .
Chapter one
Haley sat alone in the nursery holding the blanket hope had last been held in . She was taking it just as hard as me . Why wouldn't she ? We had just given up our daughter and now we have to pretend like she is dead , which is maybe even worse then her being dead because we know that she is not dead but we just can't be with her .
" Little wolf, it's late you should get some sleep ." I said stepping forward making my presence known though I am sure she heard me far before I mentioned my presence .
" If it is so late why are you here ? " She looked up at me her eyes red from crying .
" I shall not lie, I find comfort in the nursery, I often fall asleep here and think of what should have been ." I sat down on the floor next to her .
When I look at her sometimes all I can feel is that pain I felt when the witches killed her. slaughtering her like some animal . It makes r
emember cradling her body in my arms , It was then I realized just how much she meant to me .
No I dont show it all the time but haley is dear to me , She is the mother of my daughter and will do absolutely anything to protect her just as I will .
" You are sure rebekah will be able to protect her . " She asked me her eyes hard , I am glad even with the loss of our daughter she has not lost that fire that first drew me into her in the first place .
" I told you little wolf , I am positive. I would have never given Hope to her if I did not believe she would protect her ." I wrapped my arm around hayles shoulder in a comforting manner and she leaned into my embrace her head rested on my shoulder .
" I swear I am going to kill anyone who is a threat to Hope then I am going to bring her home . " She told me clutching the blanket even tighter .
" I would expect nothing less of you little wolf ." I kissed her cheek and held her even tighter . Right now we are one in the same , we have the same objective and that is to bring our daughter home .
