One shot about Revan's failure to destroy the Jedi that boarded his ship.

The Spirit Of Vengeance

Revan stood before a strike team of Jedi, sent to capture him and end the war with a decisive knock-out blow. He could sense their power. One Master Jedi, two Knights and a Consular padawan. The Master was overconfident, and believed that Revan could not win this fight. He disagreed.

The Consular moved behind the Knights and Master, for protection, presumably. These fools could protect no-one, he thought. He was a Dark Lord of the Sith, and he would show them what pain meant.

The Master charged him, and lost a hand. Revan finished her off by stabbing her through the heart with his ruby sabre. The Knights were disheveled by the swiftness of their Master's death, but continued on in their futility. The two died as easily as their Master. One was thrown back by Revan's mighty power, and the other stood no chance against the Sith's majestic, and powerful, strikes. He fell after he foolishly tried to cut Revan's legs from under him. He could not protect himself from a combined attack on the mind, and body. Revan invaded his mind, flooded the Jedi's thoughts with his own thoughts of lust, power and anger. This enabled Revan to simply slice his head off.

Revan had not forgotten of the other however, and was reminded of this when the remaining Knight had tried to attack him after his counterparts death. He fell when Revan grasped him with the Force, and choked him to death.

He threw a glance at the padawan, who was shocked, but also angered. It would be her downfall, as she did not know how to control it, how to use it to fuel her powers.

"Yes, girl, use your anger. Strike me, and fall to the Dark." Revan taunted.

However, she seemed alarmed at his acute awareness, and promptly calmed herself. Revan was annoyed, as he had expected her to be the easiest to defeat.

"Never, I am a Jedi, and I shall not fall to your side, Revan!" She replied.

Revan was bemused, such courage from one so young. He himself was only 27, but he no longer felt like it. The Mandalorian Wars had hardened him, as destroying a planet would. His torture at the hands of the Emperor did him no great service, as well.

"Do you truly believe you can beat me, child? Do you believe a padawan can defeat Revan The Terrible? The Scourge of the Mandalorians? The Bringer of Darkness?" Revan arrogantly stated.

"I believe that the Force will decide the victor today." The padawan said.

Revan was angered at her typical Jedi response. He would end her, now.

Which he would have done, had his apprentice not fired upon his ship at that very moment.

Bastila had simply watched as Revan fell unconscious. She smiled to herself and said:

"I think that answers that question."
