"Hey!" I yell trying to get Marissa's attention but I am no competition to Dylan who has one hand up her shirt. I gulp down some more of the sickly sweet punch as I look for a place to stand but there is n o where. The house is jammed packed by teenagers. They are spilling from every corner, taking up any empty space. I sigh how in the world did I end up at this stupid party. Oh right it's because of Marissa, who I am pretty sure doesn't even remember her own name.

"Yo, Sammy wanna dance," Trevor asks. He pulls me into the middle of what would normally be the living room, the couches are stacked neatly off to the side of the room. I might as well loosen up, and maybe even dance to some of the crappy music playing. The ocean of people swallow us up and I feel Trevor get behind me. I can feel his hip rolling behind me. I start slowly grinding on him. His hands slip around my waist. Sweaty bodies are moving to the same beat all around us.

"Wow Sammy I never knew you could dance." He whispers in my ear over the loud music. I feel his hands traveling up. Suddenly the air seems thick, the smell of sweat choking me. I need air.

"I am going to take a breather." I yell over the music. The crowd that was so welcoming barely moves as I try to push through it. As I finally manage to get myself away from the crowd I notice the time. There is no way I am ever seeing daylight after this. Marissa is so dead. I make it my main goal to find somewhere empty where I can think less bloodlust thoughts. As I open the kitchen sliding door I am greeted by A thick wall of smoke. Cans litter the once pretty lawn and several garden gnomes are laying face down.

"Wow look what the cat dragged in." A husky voice says to my left. I turn and see none other than Heather. I now earlier I felt like the whole town was in there, but now I realized maybe it was true.

"I am so excited to see you too." I say glaring at her.

"Chill I can see your underwear is still in a bunch."

"Save it for a rainy day, Heather."

"Whatever so how are you and my brother doing? Cuz I am pretty sure I saw you all over Trevor in there."

"Me and Casey... were complicated and let me set this straight Trevor was all over me."

"It takes two to tango." She sweetly in my ear. "So if you aren't so sure about my bro I can do this then."

She press her lips against mine. She catches me by surprise but I return the kiss. She tastes sweet and like cheap cinnamon gum. I never wanted to kiss a girl before but know I am kissing Heather. Heather of all people. Someone whistles and I pull away from her. My face feels like it's on fire. I want to shout what the hell was that but I don't. I want to kiss her again feel her soft lips against mine.

"Heather..." I begin looking down at my worn out converse. " I think we should do that again."
