i slowly became aware of the horrid madness inducing pain i was in. Then darkness…
I found myself looking at obsidian. I turned and heard a piercing metallic screech. i saw a beast rush out of the cave and into the night leaving me alone in the obsidian filled cave. A small cave in caused the entrance to be blocked.
You see, a long time ago a large nuclear explosion in a dark matter lab the world was altered in horrible ways civilization was thrown far behind electricity and horrid beasts were created. The explosion started an apocalypse and threw the world into chaos.
I got up and found an underground mining shaft and, despite my fears went to explore it. I found a storage crate and inside it was some leather armor, some weapons, and a stick of dynamite. As i got ready got ready to keep exploring the cave. Grabbed my equipment (thud) the cave shook i dropped the dynamite, thud thud thud thud, I dove to the side, and fell.
As a zombie goliath rushed past me trying to trample me. I landed on my feet and ran. i clutched my ears as a bone chilling, Heart wrenching howl pierced the air. I fell to the side as a wolf the size of a full grown grizzly bear bolted past me and attacked the goliath that was almost upon me. I pulled down the lever that was on the wall. Arrows shot out of the wall and killed the goliath.
not wanting to be the wolves next meal I ran. The tnt I dropped exploded and i tripped in the confusion, falling down into the cold depths of the darkness...
My name is Seth and i'm alive by sheer luck. I made it back to my village as to see a few survivors rebuilding. i couldn't stand to watch and decided I would continue on to the next village. I passed my friend who had been killed by a suicide monkey.
I ran even though time was against me. (4 hours of running where nothing happens). Night time occurs and the skeletal pack beasts are on the prowl. As a bonus it was the night of the dead moon so all the beasts were extremely powerful. I climbed up a large tree and made a makeshift bed out of leaves. (current time 10:34pm). (3:56 AM). I awake to find a Widolf rushing towards me (A black widow with the speed, fang, and claws of a wolf and the overall height average of the original hummer and yes it does secrete poison).
