fanfic100 Challenge Prompt # 43
Square
"Minerva, you are beautiful. You've always been beautiful. Why should that change now?"
"Because nowI have to wear these! I feel old."
Albus leaned down and kissed his wife on the nose. He had known this was coming but it was still amusing to him. "So my dear if you feel old, how old do you feel I am?" Making his point clear, he removed his glasses and began to clean them off.
"Oh, Albus, that is not what I meant and you know it!" She sat up in bed, where they had been lounging. It was not often they had the opportunity of a lie-in and they were taking advantage of it. She took his glasses from him and finished cleaning them before lovingly returning them to his face. She kissed him before leaning back against the headboard. "I am being silly, aren't I?"
Albus began to nuzzle her neck and was pleased with the slight sigh of contentment he heard. Leaving soft kisses in his path, Albus made his way down her neck toward his shoulder. Between kisses, he agreed. "But," kiss, "I like," kiss, "it when," kiss, "you're silly." One last kiss was placed between her neck and shoulder. He took off his glasses and placed them on the nightstand before continuing on his mission.
A trail of kisses led him all over her upper body, with some areas receiving more attention than others. A now quivering Minerva slid down in bed to meet her husband's lips in a deep kiss, as she unbuttoned his nightshirt. Breaking the kiss, Minerva moved to remove her new square spectacles.
"Leave them," said Albus with a growl that she knew and loved. "I want to make you feel beautiful with them."
…and he did.
