Primary School Friends
Ianto got ready to go to school. He put on his shirt and went downstairs with his tie. He never knew how to get them to stay tight so his mam had to do it. He was almost sorted but then he suddenly ran upstairs he came down with a blazer in his hand. He got in the car with his head looking down. He was afraid to go to school. He had been getting bullied by Jack Harkness and his friends. He hadn't dared to tell anyone. Ianto was grateful that it was only verbal and not physical if it was physical he would have had to make things up and he couldn't lie to his parents this way he was only missing some of it out. He got out of the car and walked through the gates. He was only in primary school and didn't know how to deal with a bully. And Jack Harkness was not like other people. Very high class and his dad gets him boxing gloves for christmas. Jack looked at Ianto. Ianto hurried on but this time Jack didn't go over to him and call him names. The bell rang and Ianto ran inside and got the register for Mrs Harris. He got his colouring pencils out and sat down and started on a picture. Jack came in the room and smiled at Ianto he rushed over and sat next to Ianto.
"Could I use your colours?" Jack asked.
"Yes" Ianto mumbled. Ianto didn't know what he was doing he would have been calling Ianto a teacher's pet for starting his work so early.
"I'm sorry I was mean to you." Jack said. Ianto's mouth dropped. Jack sorry. Did someone put something in his cereal.
"Are you my friend?" Ianto asked.
"I would like to be" Jack mumbled. A smile grew on Ianto's face. Jack gave him a huge high five.
"So do you want to come to my house one time?" Ianto asked. Jack nodded. This was the start of a beautiful friendship.
