(A/N: I think this actually makes more sense if Jacob imprinted on someone that wasn't Renesmee…but it really doesn't matter. This was inspired by the song Learn you Inside Out by Lifehouse. Enjoy!)
Trapped
If Jacob had had any idea that the next day would change his life forever, he would have stayed up with Leah all night.
If Jacob knew that he was going to imprint the next day, he would have told Leah that he loved her.
If Jacob could know his own future, he would have known that when tomorrow came, he would never see Leah in the same way. If Jacob knew his own future, he would never have left his house that day.
But Jacob didn't know.
The day before his imprinting was spent insulting Leah, then avoiding her for the rest of the day.
Now he was trapped. It was too late to tell Leah about his real feelings.
His real feelings for Leah had disappeared.
He was locked in his imprinting.
If Jacob had known that the next day he was going to imprint, he would have stayed up with Leah all night.
But he didn't know.
And now it was too late.
