A Troublesome Event
Harry Potter found himself reconsidering proposing to Ginny as he reluctantly trailed behind her father.
"Mr. –"
"No, Harry," Arthur jubilantly declared, "You can call me, Arthur. Ginny and you are practically engaged anyway."
"All right, Mr.- ah, Arthur."
Arthur approvingly nodded, "Now, Harry, this television that the muggles own, how does it work?"
"Well, Ar- Arthur, I don't know much about television but I do know that certain muggles are paid to keep television working," Harry nervously concluded as he wondered about who had dared to inform Arthur about that muggle invention.
"That is absolutely interesting to know," Arthur happily declared.
Harry absentmindedly nodded, "Mr.- ah, I mean Arthur?"
"Harry?"
"I want to marry your daughter," he quietly but bluntly told him.
"Oh," Arthur seriously replied, "I don't know what the nifflers would think of that."
"What?"
"Sometime earlier, Luna Lovegood informed me that the nifflers would be quite upset if you were engaged to Ginny."
Harry gaped at Arthur.
"Luckily enough, I would be quite happy if you married Ginny," Arthur continued as he began to itch his head.
Author's note: I do love a good challenge! :D This was completed for the 24 hour challenge. I literally only had 24 hours to complete it.
