"Edward

"Edward! Edward!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Edward, where the hell are you?!" I couldn't see one foot in front of me. Clouds of smoke and dust were blocking my vision.

I had no idea of what was going on. I had heard screams and then a huge bang sounded throughout the entire Twin Tower building. One moment I was having Edward my boyfriend help me with an email I had to write (I am very technologically challenged), and the next everything went up into fire and smoke, including Edward.

I had put my hands over my head to protect myself from being seriously hurt from all the rubble that was coming down.

"Edward!!" I screamed again. I took one tentative step forward. The next few moments of my life seemed to go by in slow motion. I felt my foot go through the floor. I tried using my hands to push myself out, but I was dead stuck in the middle of an on-fire building. I screamed one last time in a feeble attempt for hope. All of a sudden I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me and pull me up.

It was Edward.

But before I could even look at his gorgeous face, he collapsed.

"Edward what are you doing?! We need to get out of here!!" I rolled him over onto his back and saw that his head and right leg were bleeding horribly. "OH MY GOD! EDWARD!!" I shook him but he didn't move. "Oh, Edward please, please don't be...don't be..." But I couldn't finish the sentence. Using every last ounce of strength I had, I pulled him up and wrapped my arms around his waist. He was considerably taller and heavier than me, but I guess out of pure love and desperation for my one true love made me to be able to hold him and descend down the building.

But I knew that we would never make it. I knew that we would burn to death. Either that or get crushed by falling wreckage. There was no one around me. Just Edward...fear...death. But I still fought my way through.

I tried to breathe as little as possible as not to get the smoke in my lungs. My office was on the ninth floor. There was no way I was going to make it to the safety of the bottom floor. I felt Edward sliding out of my grasp. I readjusted my grip o him and continued. Whether or not I was going in the right way, I had no idea. I was started to feel extremely dizzy and lightheaded. My lungs were filled with smoke. And poor Edward.

The last thing I remember was a big figure sauntering towards us as I started to fall and thinking I'm gonna die...

Then everything went dark...

So I wrote this just to get a change from the story I am writing now. I know its super short. Most of my chapters/stories will be like that...I just don't have the time to write long ones. Anyways, I'm giving this story a shot and see how you guys like it and how it turns out...I might or might not continue it. But I hope you like it!! Review!!
