Blister

"JAMES!" Sirius Black yelped, tearing down the corridor at a frightening pace, towards the aforementioned boy. James glanced over his shoulder. His eyes widen slightly, and he began running away.

An accurately placed tackle stopped him.

"James." He panted, moving to a kneeling position next to his now immobile friend. "James."

"What Padfoot?" James groaned, rubbing his temples, picking his spectacles off the floor where they had been thrown in the impact. Sirius looked at him with wide, sad eyes. He held one hand pitifully in front of him.

"I… I have a blister." James looked at him with disdain.

"A blister? You ruptured my spleen and likely bruised my spine because you have a blister?" Sirius nodded, lower lip stuck out, pouting to the extreme. His index finger was stuck directly before James' face. On it was a tiny little red mark, hardly noticeable.

"It hurts!" Sirius wailed, collapsing the to ground in a pathetic heap.

"Sirius… it's tiny. It doesn't even count as a blister. That's like…a sub-blister."

"My blister is not a sub-blister! It's a big manly blister that hurts me!" James sighed.

"How'd you get it?"

"On my broomstick." Sirius sniffled, cradling his grievously wounded hand. James looked at his friend for a long moment, before breaking out into laughter.

"You got that on… your broomstick?" He cackled gleefully.

"Yes!" Said Sirius. "I was outside, practicing cause I hadn't for so long, and –" James was now howling with laughter, slapping his legs. "What's so goddamned funny?!"

"It's just…" James snickered. "You were playing with your broomstick, Padfoot."

"I don't get it!" Sirius complained. This set James off into another round of laughter. "Fine! Whatever, I'm going to go get Poppy-kins to look at my gaping sore." He took off down the hallway, ignoring James. Then it dawned on him. "HEY!" He screamed from the end of the passage. "THAT'S NOT FUNNY JAMES, YOU DIRTY DIRTY BOY!"

James fell over, he was laughing too hard.

"Pervert…" Sirius muttered.
