Chapter 5

At that moment Robert Yarber was sitting at the airport. He didn't usually fly on planes but considering the distance he had no choice.

" Next flight to Indianapolis, Indiana is now boarding," came the ladies voice from the front desk on the microphone.

Robert got up and walked up to the front desk.

" Ticket please," she said holding out her hand. She was very pretty, with long blonde hair tied into a ponytail and radiantly bright green eyes that were not much different than Robert's. She snatched it from his hand and gave it back. " Have a good flight." She said sweetly, but with a dismissive tone in her voice.

" Thank you," said Robert, she took no notice, " have we met?" she still took no notice of him. But, then she flicked her eyes up at his for a brief second and went back to ignoring him.

As he went down the terminal he thought to himself, she was weird, than he got a weird feeling he knew her, but shook off the thought. When he found his seat there was a strange man on his right who had the same green eyes as his and the lady at the desk. The man gave him a toothy smile that reveiled sharp yellow K-9's that looked as though they could rip a bear to shreds. His nails were yellow as well and sharp as knives. He wore a long tattered leather black trench coat and boots. His pants were skin tight and faded leather, with long matted graying black hair.

" Hello," he said, still smiling.

" Hello," Robert replied.

" First flight?"

" No."

" It is mine," he said happily, " I have always wanted to fly amazing what humans come up with."

" Excuse me?"

" Marvelously intelligent, humans are."

" And you're not."

" Not what?"

" Human."

" Why no," he said, " and neither are you."

" What?"

" You're a lycan."
