I climb up to the top of the highest point of one of the hokages' stone heads and prepare myself for a lonely death.
As I fall, my arms outstretched, I hear a shout from above… It sounds so familiar…
The pain is abundant as I hit the ground. Something thuds next to me… I am turned over and find myself staring into those all too familiar jet black eyes, now filled with tears.
"Sasuke… You came back…"
"Naruto…" he sobs. His arms grip my body to him as his own shakes with grief. "Naze, Naruto!?!"
"I thought… you'd… never come back…"

Sasuke clutched his best friend's dead body to him and cried. There was no one left for him… He was better off dead.
The Uchiha took his sword out of its sheath, ran his Chidori through it and then stabbed himself and sliced across, nearly cutting his body in two.
'Aisumasen, Naruto…" he thought numbly before the darkness stole over him.
