AN: Takes place shortly before and during the four way computer chat scene in Scooby-Doo! and The Monster of Mexico. I plan on this one being a short one. If it's too short, it's not that I didn't put any effort in, it's just that this was an awkward prompt for me, but I did my best.
Fred looked at his email from his pen pal, Alejo Otero. A trip to Mexico? Solving a case? Bring the gang along? Getting to meet his pen pal in person? His attention was caught when he read that they needed a case to solve.
He emailed Daphne first. Asking if she wanted to come along.
After getting an affirmative from her, he contacted Velma about it.
She was in. Perfect! Her knowledge of ancient Aztec rituals would come in handy if Alejo couldn't or didn't want to come with them to investigate so he could be with his family.
Now, to convince Shaggy and Scooby to come to Mexico where the monster was.
Thank goodness Velma said that there was a festival with food.
Fred sent an email to Alejo saying they would be there as soon as they got everything ready for their departure to Mexico.
