Angel
By: Itachi Silverwolf
Mikoto made a move to watch her son. Tying a tie at his throat she holds back tears. An almost grown child stares at his mother. Moving the next thing to do is to tie back the boy's hair. Staring at his own reflection was her youngest son. Just months ago Mikoto Uchiha had buried her oldest. Scented oil and polished shoes came next. At eighteen it was time to get her child out of this mess before it got worse.
"Mama, I haven't an idea of what to do." Mikoto kisses his cheek. Her hands tremble as she locks something around his neck and then tucks under the dress shirt. There was a soft smile as she reaches for the coat.
"Be nice to the ladies. You and I both know your father is gone. Your brother is dead. There isn't any money left. Sasuke, this is your way out. Do you understand me?" There was a stern nod from her child. Tears fall briefly as Mikoto moves placing her arms around her son. "You have the charm. You'll do fine my angel."
Pushing her son out the door Mikoto holds back her own tears. Sasuke stands just outside uncertain. There weren't any words as he stares back at the closed door. He goes to push and finds it locked. "Forgive me my angel. Don't turn this way, keep going."
After a moment he gives up the fight to get back into the house and begins walking. A mother cries on the other side of the door watching her son leave. Very little in tow for her child to fall back on. The highway wasn't far.
Making his way up the side of the highway there was notice of a car pulling over. A glance went in that direction as a voice called. "Hey sexy, you need a ride?" Sasuke watches the woman a moment before simply giving a nod. The door opens with a small grin.
A brief hesitation before Sasuke gets into the car. The female watches him a moment. Dark eyes close a moment. Mother,Iunderstand. There was a small smile returned. When ask for a name. "Angel." So Sasuke had lied. It wasn't as if it mattered. This was only the beginning.
With a close of the door the journey begins. It was time to leave the past buried. To start again. The woman in the drive's seat had to be at least twice his age. Be nice to the ladies. He would keep to that for now. After all this woman was his ride out of town.
There were no questions of where he had come from dressed so well. Though the hand the found it's way along his thigh proved the stranger though somehting of him. For now it was better to keep silent and let things happen as they would.
The sign Sasuke noticed from the passenger side stated they were leaving town. Briefly dark eyes close. Goodbye mother. I hold no grudge.
A/N: What can I say I was bored for the holiday. Also a song called Fancy by Reba McEntire was kind of the inspiration for this one. I'll let the masses decide if I continue.
