I have a feeling that people liked my Takeru and Hikari drabble... strangely enough... so here is another humor drabble, this time starring Hikari and her beloved brother, Taichi! :) Spoilers ahead for 'Reunion'!
"Taichi! Wake up! You'll be late for school!"
"Just one more... *yawn*... minute."
Hikari glared at the closed door as their mother giggled to herself in the kitchen, cooking breakfast for her as she didn't have to go for another hour. Her brother, on the other hand, was meant to be at his high school in about ten minutes and if he didn't get up now, he would be late and likely forget his lunch for the day... as that though trailed off in her mind, Taichi's devious little sister smirked, confusing their mother as the perfect plan hitched in the girl's brain.
~ Odaiba High School, Soccer Practice, 2 p.m ~
"Big brother!" his little sister's voice resonated across the field as she walked up to him. "You forgot your lunch... again!"
"Hehe, you are a life saver Hikari..." Taichi spoke, taking the box from her as he somehow didn't notice his teammates drooling over her. "I will do anything you want me to now! Eh... hey you guys... didn't you want to rest?"
"We cannot rest with Hikari-chan here!" they cried in return, causing their captain to sweatdrop as the younger brunette smirked and began to speak, poking her brother's huge mane of hair as she did.
"You could buy me that ice cream that I love..." with that she gave him a rather detailed description of one of her favorites. The older teen just sulked and nodded, knowing that his montly allowance would be used for neferious deeds. Chuckling, Hikari pecked his cheek and waved.
"Takeru-kun is waiting to walk me home... see you later, big brother!"
"Huh? T-Takeru? Wait!" but it was too late and Taichi could only stare into the empty as he realized that she tricked him.
Again.
Don't you just love siblings? Especially seemingly innocent ones like Hikari?
