Author's Note: Drabble for Summer Klaine Week 2013 day 2, AU. Just short cuteness.

Disclaimer, I don't own glee.

Kurt cussed under his breath as his phone rang, making his coffee fell to the ground, splattering on his shoes, he was going to be even later now, and it wasn't going to help that he was in the middle of busy New York. He knelt, picking up the cup and grabbing his books, he was going to be later than he thought and he couldn't even help it, he decided to ignore the phone call, whoever it was had to wait. He saw hands reach for his last book and frowned, he couldn't risk these being stolen, they weren't his.

"Sorry, it looked like you needed help. How about I reimburse you for that lost coffee? There's a cafe down the street." Kurt stood, looking into the most brilliant hazel eyes.

"You have no clue how tempting that is, I haven't had my morning dose of caffeine yet, but I'm already fifteen minutes late for a brunch with an old teacher. He's doing an off-Broadway production this summer. And I promised to return these to him, I' m sorry. But thank you."

The man shrugged, "Reschedule, you're already so late." When Kurt still seemed hesitant the man took another one of the books from Kurt's load, "Seriously, I'll even toss in a muffin."

Kurt gave in, wanting to see more of that smile. "Okay. Sounds perfect. I'm Kurt by the way."

The man laughed, "Trust me I know, you have the voice of an angel, and your acting is brilliant. I'm Blaine."

Kurt smiled, he liked being praised, once inside the cafe they ordered their coffees, grabbing a table to talk. "So you're like a fan of mine?"

"Definitely! I mean most of my friends have never heard of you, but that makes it even more special since it feels like you're all mine. I've seen every production you have ever been in, and seeing you rising like you are, it's amazing. I also recently bought your debut album." Blaine rambled, "I've been listening to it on repeat and I love every second of it."

Kurt laughed, "Seriously Blaine? If you know so much about me you should have let me buy the coffee. Give me something to sign of yours, sell it on Ebay."

Blaine shook his head, "No, I don't want your signature. I want to sit and bask, hopefully your talents will rub off on me. And I bought the coffee because maybe it'll seem more datelike."

Kurt lifted an eyebrow he wasn't expecting that. "Fine Blaine, tell me something about you I don't know. I currently know you use two bottles of gel when you should only use a dime size. You enjoy my singing, which means you'll probably love my rambling, and you're completely adorable."

"I'm a music major, I play at bars and stuff. I live in an overcrowded apartment with three other music majors, but I don't care, they're family to me. And in my free time I find under-appreciated artists and stars and love everything they do. My favorite is Kurt Hummel especially his videos from his old glee club. And I have a spcific type when it comes to guys. Tall, pale, hair that looks like a cloud and I just want to run my fingers through, and of course galaxies in their eyes. You know you might just fit that profile."

Kurt reddened, he knew by the look on Blaine's face he was talking about 'Push It' when he mentioned the glee club videos, he had to get Rachel to take it down. "If you never mention that again I'll give you another date."

Blaine grinned, letting his hand rest on top of Kurt's, that was perfect.
