This'll work. She had been telling herself this all night. It has to work! Gosalyn Mallard was lying in her bed waiting. Darkwing got home at around four last night and didn't go to bed until almost five. She glanced at her clock. Quarter to eight. Better act now. She threw off the blankets and quickly dressed. She grabbed the blue sheet of paper on her desk labeled, Report Card.

Glancing at the paper, she went over the plan one more time. Go in. Get it signed. And get out. Usually, she didn't mind showing her dad her grades. After all, they weren't that bad. Unless you counted all those Fs(Gosalyn never does). And besides, "When am I really going to use algebra in the real world!"

But this was different. She had to stay on the soccer team. She was their only hope after all. And Drake had said, "One more bad report card and you can forget soccer, young lady!"

For a while she weighed her options. Just throwing the stupid thing away and forgetting about it. But she knew that would only get her a day or two before her teacher called wondering if Drake had seen her report. And forgery wasn't an option, not with her penmanship anyway. No. She figured she could get him to sign it without him remembering.

Gosalyn quietly made her way down the hall to Darke's room. When she made it to the door she could hear him snoring. A good sign. She quietly opened the door and crept inside. When her eyes adjusted to the semi-darkness she saw him lying on his side with his back to her.

"Dad?" she said quietly.

Drake grunted. Gosalyn smiled and made her way to the far side of the bed.

"Dad? Are you asleep?" Drake yawned, mumbled something, and rolled over. This is going to be cake.

She walked back to the other side of the bed and sat on the edge. "Dad," she said sweetly. "I need you to sign this." She held out the blue sheet and a big red pen. Drake opened a bleary eye and glanced at his daughter, the paper and pen, then back to Gosalyn. Finally putting two and two together, he grabbed the pen, signed on the line, then fell back into the pillow.

"Thanks Dad." she said, kissing him on the head. Wow! This was easier than I thought. She thought as she tip-toed to the door. I even have time to get some breakfast before the bus comes. She was just a few feet from the door when a voice made her freeze. "Oh, uh, Gosalyn."

Gosalyn slowly turned around. "Y-yeah, Dad?"

Though his eyes were still closed he sounded fully awake. "Make sure you come straight home from school so we can discuss why you failed algebra... again." Gosalyn grumbled loudly, stomped the rest of the way to the door, then slammed it behind her.

A/N: Admit it, we've all tried(or at least thought of trying) this on our parents. I had this idea floating around my head and thought it would be a cute One-Shot. Since this is my first fan-fic, please be nice. I do appreciate constructive criticism. Thank you :)
