Chapter 1: The Awakening
*grumbles stretching and moaning* "hmm… I'm finally awake" said Titan in a deep groggy voice, "soon the others will be to, I should get ready" he said as he stepped out of his bed and got himself ready accordingly. "I wonder how long it's been" he said as he passed his hand over a sphere, it lit up and so did the room "what year is it" he commanded the sphere, it levitated and displayed the year it was. "hmm five thousand years have passed and its 2047" he said to himself, "I wonder how much the world has changed since last I was awake" he then headed down his temple hall towards the exit. The sphere followed him as he walked "are the others awake?" he asked the sphere, it displayed everyone on a holographic screen divided into eight, "ah! Greeting my brothers and sisters glad to see all of you once again" he said with a smile, "same to you to Titan" Shiva said in a perky tone. "Oh aren't we happy today" said a grumpy voice, "don't start now we just woke up Diablos" said Garuda, "well I was enjoying my sleep and now I have to look at your ugly faces haha" Diablos said jokingly. "Well all in all its good to see one another but more importantly I want to know how the world is" Titan changing the subject to the task at hand. "Ah almost forgot after all this time, I do wonder how our creations handled themselves all this time" Ifrit said curiously. "Yes it will be interesting to see the world now" commented Alexander, "I'm sure it's the same, we taught them well in m opinion" said leviathan. Each of the gods reached the exit and stepped into the world to see its beauty… but only to be disappointed, "what is this?" Titan asked himself in confusion, before him laid a barren wasteland reaped of its life and flurishment. "This can't be!" Ifrit said in anger for in his view, his mountain was carved into with the minerals and rocks striped from it and replaced with machines that were no longer active. "I wonder what went wrong…" leviathan said is a sad tone, as her oceans were no longer pure and tall foundations stood pumping oil from it depths. "Such a pity" Garuda said, as she saw clouds of poisonous gasses from towers spewing into the air polluting it. "…" Shiva stayed silent for she had nothing to gaze upon, majority of the arctic has been melted away and turned to sea. "This land smells of death" Adrammelech said in disgust as he saw bodies of hundreds scattered over the land. All the gods were shocked and filled with emotions of confusion, anger, and sadness, and Titan stood silently just like the others. "NO!" yelled Adrammelech angered "this will not go unpunished, we gave them everything… and they just throw it away!" tears ran down some of their faces, "they will learn what fear and death is!" Ifrit yelled, "There is no other way we must help them see the error of their ways" said Garuda. "We have to make things right" Titan said "I will rip the land asunder!" as he jumped from his temple and landed with his fist to the ground causing the land to shake and crumble before him for hundreds of miles, "the oceans will be clean again" leviathan said as she rode a tsunami one hundred feet tall across the towers and forming hurricanes to the shore lines. "You will breathe in the poison you created!" Garuda yelled as she formed tornadoes from the gasses that filled the air and sent them over the foundations, "I will burn everything to ash!" Ifrit roared as he erupted his mountain with lava. The gods went on their spree of hatred and killing for many years, and they ruled over everything like they did before, but now only with fear and iron fists.
