Collision of the Stars

They say that all things

Had used to be combined.

Together in God's world,

Existing freely under the Son.

But then one day,

A great ball appeared,

With a brand new kind of life

Living under His eye.

Time passed quickly

And the great ball became sick.

Threatening to fall

And destroy the life.

But God had long ago

Promised to save life.

He said the ball will die

But life will be preserved.

As the ball continues to die

Life gazes at the stars

And wonders, "When?"

As the ball fades away.

And when all else is gone,

All life, no more,

It'll all be combined again,

On the day the stars collide.
