The Beach
The morning light was bright; I rolled over on my side to find Legolas still in a slumber. I sighed and looked upon his face, his blond hair was messed up a little bit and his braids were undone. He looked so peaceful sleeping and I dared not wake him. Unfortunately I wasn't going to stay in bed all day and he needed to wake up soon.
"Legolas" I whispered into his ear. He only moaned in response and turned over onto his side. "My husband, it is time to wake up." I said while stroking his hair, again all I receive is a groan. "Legolas please there's so many things I wish to do today and I cannot do them unless you awake." I tell him sternly.
Legolas finally rolled over and faced me. I smiled and he just glared at me. I give him a raised eyebrow and smile again.
"You do realize that the sun has only just now awaken." He groaned.
"It is no matter. The Valar have given us a long day and I intended to take every minute of it." I smile.
"Well, no matter what time it is, waking up to you is a pleasant sight." he said while kissing my forehead.
"Tis, now will you please get up so we can do something." I plead.
"Or we can just stay in bed and do something." he said with an evil smile in his face. I didn't have time to protest before he is on top of me. He captured my lips and brought me in for a long passionate kiss.
"We have all week to do this can we please go to the beach today." I said most likely to deaf ears because as soon as I'm done speaking I am met with his warm lips on mine again. His hand traveled up to my neck and cupped it. I take my hand and try to push him away but it is futile because he is much stronger. I finally pulled my other hand from his grip and smacked him, he jumped back in bed and smiled.
"So this is how you would like to play this game." he smirked and grabbed a pillow. I felt the feathers in the pillow on my face immediately. I attempted to grab another pillow but I was at his mercy.
"Legolas...stop." I tried to say through my giggles. "Stop Legolas!" he abandoned the pillow and moves behind me on the bed and begins to tickle me. I was lying flat on the bed giggling hysterically. I felt as if I'm going to pee myself.
"Legolas please stop!" I said laughing so hard that it was probably inaudible. He finally stopped with this last plea. "What was that for?" I yelled light heartedly
"Nothing, my love, just some fun." he said getting out of bed. I rose and followed him out onto the balcony; the morning sun had just risen. I turned to sit on the edge of the balcony and stare at my beautiful husband.
"I love you Legolas." I said simply
"I love you too, Alata." he said making his way over to my position. His lips met mine with such passion that I gasp, but I quickly fell in to sync with his lips. I love him more than words can explain I wish I could stay like this forever. He broke the kiss a few seconds later and looked deep into my eyes.
"So what do you wish to do today?"He asked.
I smirked and led him back into our bedroom and out the door. I kept a firm grip around his hand as if I would lose him. We turned many corners until I reached the front door of Aragorn's summer home. I pushed open the enormous doors and pointed to the ocean.
"That is what I want to do today."
