Meeting in the dark

Of all the time she could have been ill she chose now. Now at 1 o clock in the morning I hear a scream and the sound of her throwing up

"Nat you ok" I said

"Eddie dos it sound like I'm ok" Nat replied in a bleak tone

As I walked to the bathroom the stench of puke hit me I knew that if I when in there that I would also be sick. So I waited a few minutes

When she finally stopped I hear her call me

"Eddie please gets me some paracetamol and a chocolate bar"

"Hold on then" I mumbled trying not to breath trough my nose.

As I reached the kitchen I could tell that there was no use me looking we hadn't been shopping cuz Nat felt off so there was no food or parasetamol. I would have to pop out to the shop it was only down the road and open 27/7

"Nat" I shouted up the stairs "I'm going down the shops be back before you know it"

I slammed the front door and went in to the foya and put on the biggest coat I could find and the comfiest ugg boots.

I ran down the street to the shop it was weird no one was around and it was almost peaceful

As I entered the shop the woman behind the counter looked up but said nothing. I went to the back of the shop were the drugs were and grabbed a pack of parasetamol. Then went to the front counter as I walked there I could her bunch of people walking in talking a being loud for this time of night.

As I reached the counter and grabbed a chocolate bar, aero Nat's fav. I realised that I had not taken any money

"That is £4.50 dear" the cahier said to me

The back of my mind said for me to run

"I... err... well..."I stuttered

Behind me the group of people were getting ready to pay

I felt someone touch my hand slip money into it

"Here you go" I said to the casher

As I was about to turn round thinking it was one of my mates who had baled me out. I saw in front of me HARRY JUDD

I was screaming on the inside but to tied to show it on the out side

"Oh than you so much err wait here and I will get you the money" I said in an apologetic tone

"No no no" harry said "it's on me" he laughed and walked away leaving me there

I turned around and ran as fast as I could home.
